The Constructiv Technologies story

It all started in 2011 when Drew McPherson, Matt Peters and Sally McPherson launched iseekplant.

The goal for iseekplant was to create an online construction hire marketplace where suppliers could list their business capability and attract decision-makers in construction who needed equipment and services in a hurry. From that simple idea, a thriving ecosystem business was born.

As construction suppliers saw a return on investment from their profile on the marketplace, the demand significantly increased for websites and digital marketing services specifically tailored to construction suppliers.

iseekplant expanded to include an in-house digital agency. The agency, now known as Constructiv Digital, provides industry-leading website design and build services exclusively to construction clients, alongside paid search campaigns, social media marketing and search engine optimisation services. These services complement and enhance marketplace membership on iseekplant and improve its results, working as a one-stop-business development solution for our customers.

Online marketing services are now 10 times more cost-effective than traditional methods for growing a construction services business – so over time, we hope to revolutionise the cost base of our customer’s businesses towards a leaner, more competitive model. And not only that, we allow our customers to subscribe to our low-cost online lead generation services in a cashflow-friendly way – making our online marketing services accessible to construction suppliers of every size and scale.
 
Together, iseekplant and Constructiv Digital are the main sources of low-cost, high-value inbound lead generation services to thousands of suppliers to the construction industry in Australia.

Most recently, Construction Financial Services has been established to provide iseekplant and Constructiv Digital customers with a Buy-Now-Pay-Later solution for purchasing our digital business development subscriptions.

With three distinct businesses running simultaneously, Constructiv Technologies was established to provide strong governance and direction across the entire group.
