Board Observer

In late 2019, Matthew Phillips became a Board Observer for iseekplant after Macquarie Bank became a strategic investor. In 2021 he joined the newly formed Constructiv Technologies Board of Directors. Matthew is the Associate Director for Corporate and Asset Finance at Macquarie Bank and has been for the last 10 years.

Working in the Global Mining Equipment Finance Division, Matthew manages the Mining Asset financing offerings for transactions greater than $10 million across the Asia Pacific region. His work gives him unique insights into the trends in the acquisition and use of equipment across the region.

His current role at Macquarie is on the back of 5 years’ experience in Treasury roles with mining contractors Barminco and Macmahon Holdings Ltd, and 10 years’ experience in Banking and Finance at both Australia’s largest bank, Commonwealth Bank of Australia as well as BankWest.

Matthew brings a strong understanding of the mining and finance industry experience to Constructiv Technologies which is key to shaping the parent company as it grows.
